Derby County signed defender Curtis Nelson during the international break in order to take care of some crucial housekeeping.
The 31-year-old has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at Pride Park through at least the summer of 2026. His previous contract was set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Playing in every league game, whether it be League One or the Championship, Nelson has been an integral part of everything Paul Warne has done since joining the team.
He has also shown that he still has a lot of energy left in him after becoming a free agent in 2023. READ MORE: 69 new residences in Milford Mills will begin construction on the UNESCO World Heritage Site on this date.

Even though Nelson is still making an impression in either the back three or the back four, decisions will still need to be made in the upcoming months because eight players have contracts that expire at the end of the current campaign, and clubs from other Football Associations may start negotiations in January.
