Breaking news Brighton to make Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall transfer decision amid Aston Villa and Newcastle dilemma…

Several Premier League teams, including Brighton, have been linked to a January deal for Chelsea’s £30 million summer acquisition of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

In the last two transfer windows, the Seagulls attempted to pay almost £25 million to recruit Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, but the midfielder chose to join his old manager Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge instead.

However, the 26-year-old has had few opportunities to play for the first team, and Dewsbury-Hall has only played 43 minutes in the Premier League this season.

With Manchester United, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Brighton reportedly closely monitoring developments, it has sparked a lot of chatter about a January loan.

A player with a contract with Chelsea through 2029 is reportedly being considered for a loan with a January buyout option. However, given the high level of interest from rival teams, Brighton might be hesitant to make a third bid for the former Leicester player.

Brighton are also set to bolster their midfield ranks further this January with the addition of Paraguay’s Diego Gomez, who is arriving from Inter Miami for around £12m. A serious move from Brighton for Dewsbury-Hall this January looks very unlikely at this stage.
