The Argentina team for this month’s international break includes Emiliano Martínez of Aston Villa, Cristian Romero of Tottenham Hotspur, Enzo Fernández of Chelsea, Lisandro Martínez, a defender for Manchester United, and Alejandro Garnacho, an attacker for Leicester City, and Facundo Buonanotte of Leicester City.
When Manchester United hosted Leicester on Sunday, Buonanotte and Martínez faced off. While the goalie started Saturday’s Aston Villa loss to Liverpool, the Tottenham defender and the Chelsea midfielder were both active that day.
Together, the Premier League players flew to Buenos Aires to join the national team camp. Página 12 states that these five players were late for their scheduled arrival.
