Breaking: Doug King gives an update on CBS Arena in Coventry City…

Doug King, the owner of Coventry City, has stated that he still intends to buy the CBS Arena as part of his long-term goals for the team, even though he acknowledged such a deal would be challenging to complete.

Due to numerous well-documented problems with their stadium, the Sky Blues have previously had to play games at Northampton and Birmingham.

Thankfully, such is no longer the case, since Coventry now plays at their city’s CBS Arena, a venue that Mike Ashley purchased but which they do not own.

Doug King talks about the stadium situation in Coventry City. Coventry was able to secure a five-year lease after Ashley bought the stadium, guaranteeing their immediate future.

But going forward, it might cause the team problems again, so in a perfect world, they would own the stadium, and King has previously stated that he wants to do so.

Additionally, King discussed his long-term goals while speaking to a fans forum, as reported by Coventry Live. He reaffirmed his wish for the football team to purchase the CBS Arena.
