Lewis Hamilton, who is unhappy, abandons his F1 2024 Brazilian GP Sprint Race, stating that he is “not bothered” about advancing at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace on Saturday, November 3.
The British driver lost his Mercedes car in the second qualifying round and will start the mini-race from 12th on the grid after struggling for more than a lap.
George Russell has already defeated the guy with 104 career pole positions 18–6 in qualifying events during the F1 2024 season, which has been by far his weakest season at one-lap pace.
Following yet another difficult start to another Formula One weekend, the seven-time world champion has already made the decision to focus on Grand Prix qualification rather than the 2024 Brazilian GP Sprint Race. “It is what it is.”
“It will be what it is,” Hamilton said in reference to the Sprint Race to F1 TV. If I’m being completely honest, I’m not that bothered.
“Great if I can advance in the sprint. After making some adjustments to the vehicle, I’ll attempt again in qualifying two (the Grand Prix qualifying).
