The Las Vegas Raiders are interested in trading Davante Adams. It’s also said that he wants to play with the New Orleans Saints. Adams would “ideally” like to be traded to the New York Jets or Saints in order to rejoin a quarterback with whom he has already played, according to an ESPN report on Wednesday. Adams was a player for quarterbacks Derek Carr of the Saints in Las Vegas and Aaron Rodgers of the Jets in Green Bay.
Despite their brief season together, Adams and Carr clicked. Adams caught 100 passes for 1,516 yards and had a league-high 14 receiving touchdowns in 17 games during that season. Carr played in 15 of those games before he was benched in what turned out to be his final season with the Raiders. Adams spent the first eight years of his career in Green Bay, where he made five Pro Bowls.
