We start our run through five things to look out for in today’s game with Leeds United’s arrival at 1.30pm this afternoon. Pascal Struijk was the biggest question mark for Daniel Farke as he came out of Thursday’s press conference. If the Dutchman is not ready to start today, it may set off a chain reaction through the rest of the manager’s team selection. Together, they were a fantastic centre defence line throughout the second part of the previous campaign. Farke would then have to choose between Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell in addition to Ilia Gruev. Tanaka has shown promise in his brief appearances off the bench, but Rothwell has received multiple compliments from Farke this year. Sam Byram in central defence is an option, although he might be required elsewhere. Farke did bring up James Debayo on Thursday, but that would be a major bet on the German in a league match.
