Whilst there is always the argument that you have to beat the best teams in order to win a trophy, and in that case, Spurs’ prospective fourth-round draw shouldn’t matter, but I would more than welcome a ‘easy’ draw at home to a League Two side. Spurs were given tough draws in every competition last season and ultimately it led to an early exit from both the FA and Carabao Cup. This season, Tottenham and Postecoglou look desperate for success and in a competition where many big teams make shock exits, an easier draw would be ideal. Related Topics
