The former defender admitted that he still has a soft spot for Leeds and hopes

have struggled in recent years but believes that they are on the right track to success under current manager Marcelo Bielsa.


Speaking to the media, White said, “Leeds have had a tough time in recent years, but I think under Bielsa they are heading in the right direction. He has brought a different style of play to the team and has really got the players performing well.”

White, who spent eight years at Leeds before leaving in 2015, also praised the club’s recent promotion to the Premier League and believes that they have the potential to establish themselves as a top-flight team once again.


“I think Leeds have the potential to do well in the Premier League. They have a passionate fan base and a great history, so I think they just need to build on that and continue to improve under Bielsa’s guidance,” White added.

The former defender admitted that he still has a soft spot for Leeds and hopes to see them continue to succeed in the future.
