For his “slow” responses, Jayden Bogle has come under fire after Leeds United’s 1-0 loss to Burnley on Saturday, September 14. The Football League Paper (page 10, 15 September) rated the defender with a score of 5/10 for his inability to prevent Luca Koleosho from scoring in the 18th minute. In the Sunday Mirror (page 16 of pull-out, September 15), Bogle was criticised for allowing Burnley to win the game with a shot that went between his legs. “(Bogle) Had his hands full with (Jaidon) Anthony-and seemed slow to react to Burnley’s goal,” the Football League Paper reported. The Italy Under-21 international Jayden Bogle dashed to the brink of the penalty area, trapped between two thoughts, the Sunday Mirror continued.
