This win marks Gushue’s sixth Brier title overall, tying him with legendary curler Randy Ferbey for the most ever.
Gushue, along with teammates Mark Nichols, Brett Gallant, and Geoff Walker, put on a dominant performance throughout the tournament, finishing the round-robin with a 9-2 record before defeating McEwen 8-7 in a thrilling championship game. The win solidifies Gushue as one of the all-time greats in Canadian curling history.
