The Premier Sports Cup saw the Terrors advance to the quarterfinals thanks to a 1-0 victory courtesy of a goal from Ross Graham. Goodwin said that he was relieved that the decision to use the centre defender in midfield, Kevin Holt, also played a significant part. “I thought Kev was outstanding,” the manager stated, “and I asked him to play as a defensive midfielder and give the back three a bit of insurance.”
