According to the Sunday Mirror, Leeds United is considering bringing back Jack Clarke this summer to replace Georginio Rutter, but they will have competition from teams like Southampton and Lazio for his services. Clarke had a successful 2023–24 season, making 40 appearances for Sunderland and scoring 15 goals. Last weekend, he also opened his season with a goal away against Cardiff. Numerous teams have expressed interest in the Englishman as a result of his performances; Wolves and the previously stated trio are rumoured to have expressed interest in the £30 million-rated forward.
