Angela Cullen and Lewis Hamilton shed light on fitness routines of top drivers

Because racing cars have became so physically demanding over the years, the misconception that racing drivers have it easy because they sit in a cockpit has long been debunked. Prominent racers, such as Formula 1 drivers, are among the world’s most physically fit athletes. Owing to the physical and mental strains placed on their bodies, successful training regimens must be well-balanced. Angela Cullen, who now works with Marcus Armstrong in IndyCar and was once the personal trainer of seven-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, disclosed some information about the annual training regimens that drivers follow. She said in a recent video posted on IndyCar’s official YouTube channel, “They’re training is pretty stable throughout the season.”
