It’s possible that Sheffield Wednesday already knows who their dream summer addition is.
Sheffield Wednesday and Danny Rohl certainly have a lot of work to do during this summer’s transfer window.
And with players like Ian Poveda and Ike Ugbo leaving, it appears that attacking additions may be Rohl and his hiring staff’s first focus. Although Rohl is eager for both players to return, there appears to be some doubt surrounding them this summer, particularly for Ugbo in light of Troyes’ relegation to the French third division. Potential transfers to Hillsborough this summer have been associated with a number of names thus far, including January targets Duncan McGuire and Mika Biereth.
McGuire though has recently spent time on the sidelines whilst Biereth looks to be out of Sheffield Wednesday’s price range.
But Brest winger Karamoko Dembele, who has also been linked with Sheffield Wednesday, could be a more realistic bet, and a very good fit too.
