Some of the Leicester City players that may attract substantial transfer interest this summer.

Leicester City won the 2023/24 Championship title after a good season in which they earned 97 points, one more than second-placed Ipswich Town.

However, Enzo Maresca’s side’s title-winning season was not always smooth sailing, as they lost 11 games, including two defeats in their last five games against Plymouth Argyle and Blackburn Rovers.

Furthermore, the Foxes faced claims that they had broken the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations previous to their relegation, and Sky Sports revealed in March that the club had failed to submit their 2022/23 season financial records.

Enzo Maresca’s men were terrified of incurring the same fate after both Everton and Nottingham Forest received points reductions this season for breaking the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations.

According to BBC Sport, the Foxes did not get a points loss because the English Football League stated that it did not have the authority to sanction its clubs for violating Premier League regulations.

However, the Leicester Mercury reported that the King Power Stadium outfit had lost a total of Β£182 million over the last two seasons, so while Maresca will look to bolster his squad in order to adjust to life back in the top flight, the club may have to sell some of their assets this summer in order to balance the books.

This summer, the following five Foxes players may receive serious transfer interest:

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was instrumental in clinching his club’s rapid return to the Premier League, scoring 12 goals and assisting 14 times in 44 Championship matches.

Only Southampton’s Adam Armstrong, Championship Golden Boot winner Sammie Szmodics, Leeds’ Crysencio Summerville, and Plymouth’s Morgan Whittaker had more second-tier goal contributions.

According to the Mail Online, Dewsbury-Hall’s match-winning heroics throughout the 2023/24 season have piqued the interest of Premier League trio Brighton, Brentford and Fulham.

Because of the Englishman’s ability to score and create a large amount of goals, the Foxes should be eager to keep Dewsbury-Hall.
