Aberdeen is considering Benjamin Siegrist as a successor for current stopper Kelle Roos. Siegrist, who was signed as a free agent by Australian Ange Postecoglou in the summer transfer window of 2020, has hardly been seen in Celtic colours and appears to be behind Joe Hart and now Scott Bain in the pecking order. When he was at Tannadice, he was a strong, reliable goalkeeper who put in some excellent performances for the Tayside club and was also effective against Scotland’s top two. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Benji, but I’m sure someone will take a chance on the goalkeeper. With Football Scotland reporting that Kelle Roos has stalled on making a quick decision on his new contract, the Dons are making contingency plans for such an event, and Seigrist is one of the irons in the fire
