Dodgers Make Roster Move to Help Struggling Bullpen Ahead of Monday’s Game

To strengthen their bullpen before of their game on Monday, the Los Angeles Dodgers made a minor roster change. Ricky Vanasco, a right-handed pitcher, was recalled by the team from Triple-A. J.P. Feyereisen, a right-handed pitcher, was optioned to create space on the roster.

The 25-year-old Vanasco, a former Rangers prospect, has excelled at Triple-A this season, going 3-for-3 in save opportunities and recording a 2.25 ERA in four appearances. Now he will get the chance to assist a Dodger bullpen in need.

This year, the Los Angeles bullpen has been disorganised as a result of the team’s rotating door of relievers trying to contribute. The Dodgers are 21st in all of Major League Baseball with a 4.69 bullpen ERA going into Monday’s game.

On Monday, Vanasco will be called up, but this won’t be the only pitcher doing so this week.

The Dodgers have a right-hander named Kyle Hurt who has appeared in two games during the regular season. Hurt may be called up as early as Tuesday. This week, the organisation is also anticipated to bring up Landon Knack, a high pitching prospect.
