Juventus is reportedly considering bringing Bologna manager Thiago Motta, who is also a summer transfer target for Manchester United, to the club.

Bologna coach Thiago Motta is reportedly being pursued by Juventus and Manchester United, but the former Italy international is still undecided about his future. This information comes from Alfredo Pedulla.

With Bologna, who are presently fourth in Serie A and, against all odds, on course for an unexpected qualifying for the 2024–25 Champions League, the Italian is having a fantastic season.

Bologna is currently in fourth place with a five-point lead ahead of the final stretch, after the 41-year-old took over in September 2022 and guided the team to ninth place in his first season.
As one of the top young coaches on the continent, Motta, 41, has his squad ranked higher than teams like Roma, Lazio, Atalanta, and Napoli.

Motta’s contract with Bologna is scheduled to expire at the end of the current season, despite his outstanding accomplishments in the north of Italy.

The Rossoblu, though, are hoping that the gifted head coach would decide to stay at Stadio Dall’Ara for more time than just the summer.

Given that they have personally witnessed Motta’s transformation of an underdog Serie A team, it should come as no surprise that Italian powerhouse Juventus is still interested in signing him.

As Massimiliano Allegri tries to lead Juventus back to the top of Italian football, the team is already searching for a new manager.
