Flory Branch, Georgia: If you follow this mock roundup series regularly, you are probably well acquainted with Dallas Turner.

Since the inaugural edition, analysts have predicted the Alabama edge rusher to the Falcons. With less than three weeks till the draft, roundup 10.0 is no exception

Date: 3 April
Falcons selection: eighth overall
Choice: EDGE Analysis by Dallas Turner and Alabama Yates: “Defense is needed, and Turner is the best player available to start that side of the ball in this selection. Atlanta is in dire need of edge support despite having invested heavily in free agency; in 2023, it ranked lowest in pass rush victory percentage (30.9%). Turner is an excellent pass-rusher who displayed power and burst last season with 10 sacks. Raheem Morris, the new coach, would be thrilled to have him and could use him as a top option straight away.”
