Entrepreneurship Development Centre at Lenateka Schools in Tyowanye – Shorov, Buruku Local Government Area, Governor Alia emphasized the significance of equipping children with ICT skills to broaden their employment prospects and establish avenues for income generation. By doing so, he believes this will not only drive economic growth but also foster self-sustainability within the community.

Governor Alia also addressed the prevalent security challenges impeding education in Benue State, expressing grave concerns over the sizable number of children unable to attend school due to security threats. He reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to quashing these threats and ensuring the safe return of displaced individuals to their homes.

Furthermore, Governor Alia commended the federal government for its support in restoring peace in Benue State and called upon the youth to collaborate with traditional leaders to tackle criminal activities effectively within their communities.

In recognition of Hon. Samuel Tough’s exemplary leadership as the school’s distinguished proprietor, Governor Alia lauded his continuous efforts in driving developmental projects and encouraged other residents of Benue State to emulate such impactful contributions for community progress.

The event also saw Pastor Afolabi Oketunji, Chairman, emphasizing the transformative power of education in cultivating critical thinking skills among youth for societal advancement.
