The Dallas Cowboys have approached free agency this season in the same manner as always—letting the initial waves of players go unclaimed and choosing not to pursue the more sought-after and expensive possibilities available. Rather, the Cowboys have kept a number of its players on small contracts by utilizing free agency. News of the Cowboys’ interest in an outside free agent who is essentially one of their own surfaced on Saturday.

The information is hardly shocking. There have been reports linking the team to Ezekiel Elliott’s re-signing prior to his signing with the New England Patriots in the previous season. Elliott finished with 5 touchdowns and 958 yards from scrimmage for the Patriots.BLOGGING THE BOYS: MORE
