There is growing pressure on the Warriors of the Golden State. The Warriors are in risk of losing out on the play-in tournament even though they have the largest payroll in the NBA. Their 114-110 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves does not help their situation one bit. The Houston Rockets, who are now behind the Warriors in the Western Conference standings, are playing exceptionally well, having won eight straight games. The Warriors currently hold a one-game advantage over the team in 10th place.
Nevertheless, Draymond Green, the proud four-time NBA champion, believes that the Warriors are still in the driver’s seat, especially if his comments regarding the Rockets’ recent charge is anything to go off of.
“I don’t give a damn about the Rockets,” a cool and composed Green said in his postgame presser, per NBC Sports Warriors via ClutchPoints Twitter (X).

Draymond Green isn’t concerned about Houston surpassing the 10th seeded Warriors 👀
Draymond Green would never say differently; he knew his personality. The Warriors should have the experienced fortitude to overcome this kind of difficulty because Stephen Curry is still on the team. After being all but eliminated following Alperen Sengun’s injury, the Rockets are, nevertheless, playing with house money and playing their best basketball.
Houston is undoubtedly gaining momentum. However, given the Warriors’ poor performance over their last ten games (4-6), Green may need to take the fierce Rockets more seriously.
